Homemade chocolate as a gift

Are you visiting family or friends again soon and would you like to make your hosts happy? Then this chocolaty and fruity recipe is just right for you.

For this you need:

  • 150 grams of sugar
  • 150 ml of water
  • 1 orange
  • 200 g strawberries
  • 50 g blueberries
  • 50 g hazelnuts
  • 50 g pistachios
  • 300 g white chocolate
  • 300 g dark chocolate

Also:

  • Napkins
  • See-through wrapping paper
  • Gift ribbon

That is how it goes:

1.) Heat the water together with the sugar in a saucepan.

2.) Meanwhile, cut an orange into slices and blanch it for about 20 seconds in the boiling sugar water. Then drain the slices and place them on a baking sheet.

3.) Now cut the strawberries into slices and halve the blueberries. Place the fruit on the tray with the oranges and dry everything in the oven at 100 ° C for 90 minutes.

4.) Now line two small baking tins (approx. 25 cm x 15 cm) with baking paper. Melt both the white and the dark chocolate in a double boiler and pour each into a mold.

Tip: If you gently shake the mold or carefully tap it on the surface, the viscous chocolate spreads evenly in the mold as if by itself.

5.) Now distribute the orange peel, blueberries and hazelnuts evenly on the white chocolate.

6.) Now arrange the strawberries and pistachios decoratively on the melted dark chocolate.

7.) Let the chocolate cool down until it has hardened again. Then pull out the chocolates and cut them into rectangular pieces.

8.) Finally, place the white and dark plates halfway on a napkin each and wrap them in it. Wrap the whole thing in transparent wrapping paper and finish it off with a decorative bow.

Don’t these wrapped chocolates just look wonderful? You are guaranteed to enchant every host. Have fun giving away!
