1.) Hyacinths in a ball of wool

For this you need:

  • hyacinth
  • felt
  • wire
  • Wool

1.1) First remove the soil from the flower bulb. Then wrap the onion in a piece of felt. Wrap wire all around so that the felt stays in place.

1.2) Wrap the wool criss-cross around the tuber and knot the two ends of the wool.

2.) Colored flowers

For this you need:

  • Glass with water
  • Food coloring
  • Flowers with the bloom as white as possible

That is how it goes:

Color water in a glass with food coloring. Now place the flowers in the colored water and watch how the flowers slowly change color. The flowers take different lengths of time to change their color. It also varies from flower variety to flower variety. You can expect about 5 to 10 hours for complete discoloration.

3.) Wax onion

  • pink candle or pink wax
  • white candle or white wax
